Terms of Use

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PlayBrainly mobile application (the "App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. License to use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for your own non-commercial entertainment and training. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, resell, or distribute the App or its content except as permitted by law.

2. Your account

The App creates an anonymous account for you automatically. You are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account and for the display name you choose. You may delete your account at any time from Profile → Account → Delete account.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Choose a display name that is offensive, misleading, infringing, or that impersonates another person;
• Cheat, exploit bugs, use automation/bots, or otherwise manipulate scores, leaderboards, or league standings;
• Disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App or its backend services;
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose.

We may suspend or remove access, and reset scores or standings, if we reasonably believe these Terms have been violated.

4. Virtual items and currency

The App includes virtual currency (such as coins and gems) and virtual items (such as avatars and streak freezes). These have no real-world monetary value, cannot be exchanged for cash, and are earned through gameplay. The App does not sell virtual currency or items for real money. Virtual items are licensed to you, not sold, and may be modified or discontinued at any time. Balances may be lost if you delete your account.

5. Intellectual property

The App, including its games, design, graphics, logos, and content, is owned by PlayBrainly and protected by intellectual property laws. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.

6. Teams and organizations

If you create or join a team or organization, you are responsible for your conduct within it. Administrators can view members' display names and activity for engagement reporting. Do not create teams or organizations to collect data about others without their knowledge.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. PlayBrainly is an entertainment and cognitive-training product and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular result (such as improved cognitive performance) will be achieved.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PlayBrainly and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

9. Changes to the App and Terms

We may update, change, or discontinue the App or any of its features at any time. We may also revise these Terms; material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be subject to the competent courts of Brazil, unless a mandatory consumer-protection law provides otherwise.
